On Sept. 1, 2011, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall of Pacific Décor Ltd.’s Pacific Flame pourable gel fuel bottles. The recall impacted approximately 3,600 bottles that were sold in furniture stores, home and garden stores, online, and in specialty and gift shops nationwide for prices ranging between $10 and $12. The CPSC advises anyone who bought Pacific Flame gel fuel products to immediately stop using them. The federal agency also stated it is illegal to resell or attempt to resell this Pacific Flame gel fuel products.

The recall applies to 1-quart, model 160 bottles with SKU number 095583001605 and 1-quart, model 170 bottles with SKU number 095583001704. Pacific Décor distributed the gel fuel product in white plastic bottles with a label stating “Premium pourable gel fuel” and “Pacific Flame.”
