The Washington Post quotes partner Karen Evans on controversial DC fire lieutenant's retirement

The Washington Post quoted Karen Evans in a story about the DC fire lieutenant in charge of the fire station that allegedly refused to help Medric Cecil Mills as he suffered a health emergency. Evans, an experienced trial attorney and partner with The Cochran Firm, DC, represents the Mills family.

Their attorney, Karen Evans, said in a statement that allowing “the lieutenant off scot-free and to receive retirement without adverse action is outrageous.” She called the internal disciplinary system “inadequate and unjust.”
